Jack Dale is a non representational abstract painter.
He is a mark maker constantly digging for an image that will define his work. Although composition, line, and texture are all important
elements in Jack's painting, it is his masterful use of color that is most fascinating.
He produces only original art that you will remember for the feelings that it evokes long after viewing it.
Jack went to college (University of Minnesota) on a hockey scholarship, played on the 1968 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team and three years as a professional before an injury ended his career. The good fortune is that he turned to his art and has been painting ever since.
Jack paints primarily with oil on a variety of surfaces.
